Trout in the Area

As you can see, since Trout is basically a jumping fish with a tendency to unhook, and to preserve them, single barbless hooks are mandatory, we use light rods that will absorb the fish's movements and limit unhooking. As fishing time is limited, rather than changing lures, we change rods. Generally, participants use at least 3 rods with different lures. In the morning, fish are less wary. Fishing is done with flashy lures close to the bank. When the fish have heard hundreds of lures fall into the water, they become more difficult to lure. Casting distance then becomes very important.

1. Rodbuilder's Republic Area Super Flanker 1m88 0.5-5gr, 2 sections : This blank is very versatile. It's equally at home with ripples, cranks and soft lures. The action is very different from the TR68 (very round). This Area Super Flanker is faster, less supple but still super fun and super sensitive.

When there's a lot of fishing pressure on the spot and you need to cast small lures at long distance, this blank makes the difference. The ideal blank for the end of the run.
